Popular Post Master Mind
The Sharks run is officially over, but we'd like to acknowledge the efforts of some of our best: Christian Ehrhoff: After Pronger's departure, Ehrhoff took the reigns as the #1 defenseman and flourished. He scored 328 points, and won two Norris Trophies. He certainly made Bomba and all of Germany proud. Kari Lehtonen: What a difference this man made. Kari instantly stabilized the goaltending, and brought the team back-to-back championships. The second cup run in particular he was unstoppable, posting a 1.61 GAA and .940 sv% as he went 16-1-1. He was rightfully awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy both times. Joe Thornton & Patrick Marleau: Our 1-2 punch at centre. Two of our most productive players with 506 & 480 points respectively, and each with 54 in the playoffs. They elevated everyone around them. Matt Carle: Our anchor defensively. He and Ehrhoff formed one of the best d-pairings in the league. A DFD who put up 302 points and 37 more in the playoffs. He wound up playing in the all-star game, the Olympics, and was a Norris finalist. Marc-Edouard Vlasic & Marcel Goc: While they didn't win any awards, they were two of the few to have spent their entire careers in San Jose. And last but certainly not least... Jonathan Cheechoo, the San Jose legend. He caps off his career with 567 points in 572 games, plus an additional 59 points in 73 playoff appearances. He led the team in both categories, notching 4 40-goal seasons along the way. Was in the running for the Conn Smythe, Art Ross, and Rocket Richard on multiple occasions. His number (as well as a few others on this list) will hang from the rafters in San Jose. Instead of posting the usual Cheechoo song, we have one that's a little more appropriate: Thanks to @Patrick Kane, @Nail, and everyone else that made this league a reality. I had a blast. But now the party's over, and it's time to move on... to 6.0 7

I've had others try opening the file as well. Anyone interested in a new league please let know. Thank you all for playing, hope everyone sticks around. I still have a season in me at least!
