Rick Lanz got in at #48, but Boeser was two votes behind him. Rick Rypien had a boost in support strong enough to get him added to the list of voting options with five nominations.

Reminder to both vote and nominate another player to be added as a voting option!

For those of you who haven't seen these kinds of polls before, the way they work is you vote for who you think is the greatest/top Canuck at the position. As for what is meant by "Greatest" or "Top", I will leave that to each individual. I have my own interpretations, but others may define it differently. Worth noting, that I do want to keep this to their tenures with Vancouver and as players, thus a player like Neely would only be considered for his Vancouver time and guys like Quinn and Crawford would only be considered for their playing careers, not their coaching careers.

I'm debating writing up an article on the top 50 (in sections) when we're done, but I'm not sure how much interest there would be in reading my ramblings on players.

Honorable Mention...

Hilliard Graves, Don Tannahill, Steve Tambellini, Pavol Demitra, Jeff Cowan, Poul Popiel, Neil Belland, Shawn Antoski, Gregg Boddy, Ron Stern, Scott Walker

Scott Walker and Antoski weren’t here long but it’s funny how some players have more of a lasting impact then others.   Walker gets extra props for creating a rift with Keenan and Burke - you know we had to protect the great Peter Zezel instead ... helped speed up the process in getting him the heck out of town ha ha.  Antoski was our answer (for a short while) for Sandy McCarthy in CAL (Gino’s buddy)  at least for a short while and very fast for a big man too...not as effective as say Lappy in 2011 but still iced for most of 94.    Great list Biestra it’s been a lot of fun strolling down memory lane with you and AJ and the rest of the CDC participants.
