-DLC-
I participated in one that, apparently, others found quite funny after the fact...have told the story here before. My ex was in a beer league...playoffs at 8 rinks. They hated the team they were playing against and vice versa. My ex was a really good player...but not very big (5'8" 150 lbs or so). He'd scored a few times by deking out the other team and they'd had enough and went after him. A guy checked him and they both went flying through an open gate...a fight ensued, then a bench brawl. I was scorekeeper and heavily invested/emotional as things erupted. Looked down at my feet to an ice cream bucket of extra pucks. Started flinging them out on the ice, pegging one of the opponents in the helmet. After the game we all went upstairs for a beer and pool (the usual post game wind down)...where the team awarded me first star. 1 1
smithers joe
during the playoffs of cliff ronning’s last year in juniors, i went to a game. someone had a rubber chicken on a long string, threw it over a rafter and every time a portland player skated by, the chicken was jerked up and down. eventually the ref grabbed it and threw it into the penalty box. later in the game, fans were chanting something. soon everyone was chanting, free that chicken. the fans were having a ball and mr. magic, cliff ronning and his team won the game. i remember wishing the canucks would draft that little guy. no one could get the puck away from him. that was a fun night. 2

I also find some of the clips with refs in front and someone in the stands with a sign about them. They can be pretty funny.

Joe, you got me going! LOL #1......……..My ex-wife skied over her thumb...……..you should try doing that...……..its almost bloody impossible! #2...………..My childhood buddy and I were playing tennis and he hit himself in the face, and gave himself a nosebleed...…..I couldn't stand I laughed so Hard.... Down by the River
Randy Johnson sailed a pitch over and behind Larry Walker's head... So Walker switch-hit and turned his helmet to protect the back of his head:
