apollo 12,080 Posted December 27, 2020 We are deeply saddened to have traded away two legends in Erik Karlsson & Mark Stone... All 1000 gamers as Sens... we wish them well. Mark specifically only wanted to be traded to Tarana so his family wouldn't have to move. I actually drove him to Tarrrrana myself and handed him off to @MikeyBoy44

Nail 21,421 Posted December 28, 2020 2029 DRAFT TIDBITS PART 5 Andreas van der Put (LW) A big 6'5 goal scoring winger from Germany, van der Put has made his way to the CHL this season and is in his rookie season for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the QMJHL. In 54 games this season, van der Put has twinkled the twine 34 times and has added 26 more assists. van der Put's best asset is his shot, and he uses his size to create better scoring opportunities for himself. There are major defensive deficiencies to van der Put's game, and some scouts wonder if he is only succeeding because he can bully players that are smaller than him. Simon Boyle (LW) A skilled forward in his third season with the Charlottetown Islanders in the QMJHL, Boyle has an impressive 36 goals and 64 points through 56 games this season. Boyle is on pace to shatter his previous career highs within the QMJHL, and has already scored more goals this season than he has had in years past. Boyle is a skilled forward who relies equally on his shot and passing abilities to create offence. He is a good skater, but sometimes has some difficulties within his own defensive end. Boyle may need a few years of seasoning before he receives an NHL opportunity. Skylar Lewis (C) As a draft eligible in his rookie season in the QMJHL, Lewis is currently leading the entire league in scoring with 23 goals and 63 assists in 60 games. The skilled forward playing for the Quebec Remparts is actually an August born baby, meaning he is also one of the younger prospects in this years draft. Lewis is a very well refined skater, and uses this to his advantage in all areas of the ice. He is very good offensively, and loves to pass the puck as opposed to shooting it. Lewis is not very good defensively, and may not project as a center at a higher level. Corey Craige (LD) Playing for the St. Stephen Aces, Craige has 71 points in 51 games this season as a playmaking offensive defenceman. Although playing against inferior competition, Craige has begun to push his way up to the top of draft boards, and challenge to be one of the first defenders taken in the draft. Craige is a very strong skater, and has no holes in his defensive game. He may need some time to develop further, but Craige has a base set of attributes that any team would love to add into their pipeline. Craige will most likely end up in the AHL next season. Jacob Brickley (LD) Another defenceman over the PPG mark this season, Brickley has 9 goals and 57 points through 51 games this season for the Northeast Generals in the NAHL. The two-way defenceman prides himself on a defensive first style of game, and takes care of business in his own end before heading to the offensive zone. Many scouts believe that Brickley has some untapped potential offensively, and this may come as he continues to grow in the next few years. One area of concern for Brickley could potentially be with his skating, some question whether it is good enough to succeed at the next level. 3 2
