Nail 21,421 Posted January 8 2030 DRAFT TIDBITS PART 3 Ian Warm (LW) Ever since an over point per game performance in the Memorial Cup two season ago, scouts have had their eyes on Warm. The playmaking forward has put up 37 points in 34 games this season for the Red Deer Rebels. Warm is an offensive minded player that has major difficulties in his defensive zone. As an older draft prospect, Warm needs to fix this issues soon in order to translate his game to the NHL level. Brayden Leason (LD/RD) A playmaking offensive defenceman for the Moncton Wildcats, Leason has put up 1 goal and 20 points in 34 games this season. Leason is a very raw prospect who will need some time to mature and develop further. Leason has flashed potential in both the offensive and defensive zone but will need to show steady progression every year in order to turn into something special. Cooper Lade (C) The American born skilled centerman who is currently playing midget hockey in Quebec, Lade is looking to secure himself an NCAA scholarship for next fall but may end up in the AHL next season. Lade has very strong offensive instincts, and could probably produce points in the AHL next season if he does indeed play there. He is not very good defensively, and may have to be a winger in the future. Cole Fitzpatrick (RD/RW) An offensive minded player that can play both defense and wing, Fitzpatrick has primarily played RD for the Rimouski Oceanic in the QMJHL this season. Fitzpatrick is so offensive minded that he often takes many risks defensively, which is why he could end up as a forward at higher levels. Fitzpatrick loves to shoot the puck, but sometimes catches goalies off guard with a pass. Payton Charbonneau (C/LW) A two-way forward who is currently leading the QMJHL in scoring with 28 goals and 52 points in 38 games this season, slightly beating Sharks prospect Vincent Fofana. Although listed as a two-way forward, Charbonneau may be more of a goal scorer at the next level, as his defensive game is average but not great. In Drummondville, Charbonneau has benefitted from playing alongside Blues prospect Gabe Pettit.

Nail 21,421 Posted January 8 2030 DRAFT TIDBITS PART 4 Easton Acosta (LD) A two-way defenceman who has shot up the rankings after a very strong season with Colgate in the NCAA this year. In 24 games, Acosta has 6 goals and 18 points with almost twice as many takeaways compared to giveaways. It helps that Acosta has been handed top pairing minutes in all situations, but scouts have been impressed with Acosta's commitment to a defensive game. Young-Min Lenarduzzi (RD) A playmaking defenceman in his third season with the Vancouver Giants in the WHL, Lenarduzzi is the grandson of former Whitecaps president Bob Lenarduzzi. This season in 51 games, Lenarduzzi has 7 goals and 38 points. An older prospect in this years draft, Lenarduzzi has excellent offensive instincts and is more than capable of handling himself in his own zone. Thierry Gilbert (C) Currently 2nd in scoring in the OHL, Gilbert has 26 goals and 71 points in 46 games this season for the Saginaw Spirit. The playmaking forward has excellent offensive instincts and is capable of producing points through skill or power. There are some concerns to Gilbert's defensive game, and some scouts think he may have to end up as a winger at the NHL level. Chad Reynish (LD) Playing high school hockey in Rhode Island, Reynish is a playmaking offensive defenceman with 19 goals and 58 points in 43 games this season. Reynish's game revolves around his ability to move and skate the puck up the ice. His offensive and defensive game is very raw, and he will be a prospect that may need some time to develop. It is likely he ends up in the AHL next season. Sven Westman (C/LW) A playmaking forward that has made his SHL debut for Karlskona this season, but has spent the majority of the year with their J20 team. Westman's best attributes are his passing and stickhandling abilities, and these allow him to create opportunities in the offensive zone. He hasn't been majorly dominant at the J20 level, and there are some concerns defensively. 3
