skolozsy2
Super stoked to see Doug Wilson get in! Wilson and Steve Larmer were by two favorite childhood players. Both players quietly had incredible careers. Happy to see Hossa get in as well. Great two way player...the Toews line was never the same without him. Popular Post Tre Mac
Is the equipment manager of the Oilers in the 80's also getting elected to the HoF?
khay
I thought Hossa is still active, at least on paper. How the heck can he be elected into the hall? Did the rule change? Active players can enter? Puzzled by Kevin Lowe. Why? And why now after so many years? What changed? 2

Mogilny and Konstantinov are the two biggest omissions from the HHOF from that era. Both should have been inducted years ago. Lowe was basically the caliber of Ohlund. Solid player but doesn't belong in the hall. Edited June 24, 2020 by King Heffy

Bure and Fedorov got most of the headlines even though he was equally as productive (perhaps just not as flashy). His offensive numbers were completely overshadowed by the likes of Lemieux, Jagr, Yzerman, etc. He played on a team that never really went anywhere, except for for his one Stanley Cup with the trap-first New Jersey Devils. Marian Hossa... very good career... but probably got in due to him being more recent and with more name recognition. Heck... Mogilny's borrowed "Alexander the Great" nickname was co-opted by Ovechkin too, lol.

Phil_314
Wonder if I underrated Hossa during his career? At least in his Sens days he was second fiddle on that right wing behind Alfie (who got passed over), and while he must've contributed on some great Wings/ Pens/ Hawks teams, they also had some great cores. He also scored at a lower rate than Alfie so I'm surprised he got the nod. Props to Iginla though, well deserved for being arguably the lone star in Calgary for years, a great PF and contributor to Team Canada.

Pears
That move Hossa pulled a few years back so Chicago could get out of his contract is still so slimy man...perfectly healthy then when Chicago gets into cap problems he’s all of a sudden allergic to his gear. Yeah, ok. Sure
