Russo was asked about that a few times.  Apparently there's no plan to postpone and games will just start later.

Sutter was expected to be an offensive C2.  Benning talked of how he was stuck behind Crosby/Malkin and could provide more offensively with more opportunity in Vancouver.

He was brought in to be a “foundational” player just as the Gudbranson’s of the world were lol

 

Sutter was never given 2C role. First 2 seasons there was still Hank+Bo who were there out producing him. These past 2 seasons it’s Petey+Bo ahead of him.

 

...AKA he was always brought in to be a middle6/bottom6 centre and help PK. Richardson did all that himself and fit the profile perfectly at a fraction of the price.

That's not how Benning presented him.  Kuzma was even describing him as a gifted playmaker.   He was on PP1 and was playing on the 2nd line and played for a stretch on the Sedins wing.  Horvat was being used as the defensive C.
