Henrik - Pettersson

Daniel - Boeser

Kesler - Miller

Samuelsson - Pearson

Burrows - Roussel

Raymond - Toffoli

Higgins - Sutter

Lapierre - Motte

Torres - Horvat

Hansen - Virtanen

Ehrhoff - Hughes

Hamhuis - Tanev

Bieksa - Myers

Salo - Myers

Edler - Edler

Tanev - Juolevi / Fantenberg

Luongo - Markstrom

I put Myers as a combo of Bieksa and Salo, because he has a boom of a shot and he provides a lot of physicality.

Not listed:

2011 - Glass, Tambellini, Oreksovich, Rome and Ballard, etc. Kinda meh.

2020 - Beagle, MacEwen, Gaudette, Eriksson and Stecher. Better.

The two players cannot be farther apart.

We don't have a Torres and it might be a good thing. I get the sense that the NHL has decided to call everything like roughing, punches, tripping that would go uncalled in previous playoffs. This makes sense given that they absolutely need to protect the players with COVID-19, as an injured player leaving the bubble means that player is out for the rest of the series.

This will be the playoff where speed and skill will matter the most.

Closest we had to Torres would be Ferland but he’s not an option. Collectively though I believe this team is tougher to play against. :towel:

As a fan, I love these little glimpses into team dynamics. JT Miller is a beauty. Look how stoked Huggy is when he calls his name. Also, did I hear "Tequila Tanev"?

Yes you did, and so did I.  Nicknames getting better:  sure sign of a team on the rise!

Team looks good.  Ironically for all the LE and Sutter hate that's been out there these two are looking like an integral and valuable part of the team.  Like Green said, he can use LE in so many different situations.  Sutter looks real good at center.

Quinn Hughes  4 games = 1 goal, 5 assists = 6 points.

The Canucks never had a player like him in 50 years.  Imagine Bobby Orr, Brian Leech or Erik Karlsson wearing the Canuck jersey.

And yet.....was outscored by Tanev in the biggest game in 10 years. (j/k)

I like how OJ is just sitting in the corner with a huge smile, taking the experience all in.

And also when he was coming off the ice into the dressing room....

He has the same qualities as the rest of our young star players....I wish nothing but the best for him.

I think it's time to ask...has the league?

I think the Loui bit was a reference to Clint Eastwood's Heartbreak Ridge.
