That's one of my old favourite dog walking spots...do you go right down to the water?

Also, my pre game afternoon.  Made home made chicken teriyaki don over rice for the game day meal .... one for me, one for Dad (about to go deliver it to him)

No, I will NOT be giving out the recipe via pm.

Also...tonight it's OM beer for me.  :towel:

Chicken thighs are the best cut on the bird, imo.

I just made "japanese chicken thighs" last night. floured, fried in butter then baked till crisp, then soaked in a sweet and sour teriayki sauce for 30mins.

Sauce is made with vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, teriyaki. Reduces in the oven over 30 mins untilll its a syrup

Exact recipe on my sauce is a secret for a reason (I stole it from my mom LOL).

Does the chicken stay crispy after being soaked in sauce for 30 mins?

We need to be the ones that set the physical tone early. Serve notice that we will not be

intimidated that way. Let the game settle down and learn to beat VGK 5 on 5 as the PP's

in this series will be sparse.  That is where we can win VGK are going to be tempted to

use some of that size to slow us down I believe its there that this series will be decided.

If Vegas is allowed to go to goon town, unchecked then we lose and may even get swept.

If we weather the storm of this inevitable push we win the series in 6 hard fought games.

A little on top. It's so damn good heh. Mostly baked till crispy cuz it then soaks in the sauce. It's ridiculous how good it is.

Wish we had big Nik handy.

I second that emotion.

Looks like we're waiting yet another season cuz he re-signed in the KHL, didn't he?  One year deal?

Save that dream.

Big game tonight.

What I have seen of Vegas is a big, hard, fast, and heavy fore-check and mondo violence if anyone wants to go.

We have to be ready for it and breakout of our zone fast.

Make them turn around and chase us as long as it takes to pull away and win.

although not a must win, it will be key if they want to win this series.

it is always better to not trail in a game or a series.  against a tough opponent, they need to get that confidence early and put some doubt in their opponent.

Also the first game might be the most opportune game.  Take advantage of the somewhat rusty Knights early. We are on that every other day flow, plus feeding off the winning momentum of only two days ago. Kind of like we did with St. Louis., coming fresh off our Wild series.  The Knights will inevitably be zoned in 100% again in not too long, so get to them early, forecheck like crazy. Maybe get a PP, and score first.

Kinda blows my mind to think that there are only 8 teams left fighting for the Cup, and the Canucks are one of them.

I may need extra strong medication of it's a VAN vs BOS final again.

If we get there, I like our chances this time around.

Wow...

I have to look around to make sure my wife doesn't come out of nowhere and slap you around haha.

I think we're slowly moving towards a stand against any inequality whether it be race or gender.

These issues are still very prevalent in society today so hard to make a joke about it.

You don't think Deb can handle herself and she needs protecting?  Wow dude, it's 2020, not 1950

F*ck Ya it is Baby!!! So awesome! the best part for me is we are technically not even in the 'Window" of when nicks should compete. This is all gravy/bonus.  Incalculable experience for the young core!!

I know I have mentioned this multiples times before ...

No it’s not fire Green

I am just so impressed just what kind of complete hockey player EP at such a young age. He is always on his check and if an offensive play turns around the other way he just puts his head down and flys back to pick up a check

we are so lucky to have him
