Boeser has a couple good chances. Has to hit the net. Vegas taking away passing lanes.

These were listed on their site as the keys to the series for them:

Slow Vancouver Down: The Canucks used speed and skill to overcome the defending Stanley Cup Champions in the first round. It will be vital for Vegas to take away Vancouver's open space and force their skilled players to the perimeter.

Battle Between the Pipes: Vegas turned to Robin Lehner for three of its four wins in the opening round while Marc-Andre Fleury picked up a win in his only start of the series. Markstrom has been the guy for Vancouver as he's started each game for the Canucks since Game 1 of their qualifying round series against Minnesota.

Serious question: how is Erikkson in our top 6 tonight? What has he done to deserve being there? We need BigMac in a game like this.

Did they score on their PP?  I must have missed that.  Who else penalty kills?

If you think Loui has been the worst Canucks forward in this playoff, you should watch the games more closely

Consistently mediocre.

He rarely goes below or above the hash marks, and because he rarely touches the puck he rarely loses it heh.

He's milquetoast, and we need more from everyone to have a chance.

He's not the worst guy out there, but I am pretty certain he is the least inspiring.

Burke just said we can't out physical them we have to out skate them.  Hence my leaning towards Bailey. Anyone know how fast Graovac is?

If you have to ask, then don't ask. Your thoughts have pulled away from your own knowledge.

Im thinking Green is trying to get him going. He got JV going and now Eriksson.

If today was the 7th game of the series, we'd see the same line combo as game 6 vs blues. There is no other reason to make this switch.

No the Canucks need to counter attack faster, that's how they beat the Blusers

VGK is just as physical as AND much faster than STL.

The only way we can beat them is to think, pass and shoot more quickly -- but we don't have enough of those players who are capable of.

Its true, Vegas just is born to play physical hockey.  They will take their pound of flesh regardless how we respond.

I don't think Bailey and Graovac will help.  The team just needs to move the puck quicker.  You don't need to skate this team in circles, just make quick passes.  Vegas doesn't have any particular speed burners themselves, they play fast because they are ferocious on the forecheck, move the puck quickly, and the forwards help the Defense transition quickly by controlling their gap.

Yeah, Eriksson did a great job blocking Shots and clearing the front of the net. He’s our PK MVP
