One game where we were outright dominated in the circle. 2 games against St Louis where it was pretty much 50/50. Outside of that, we have dominated every series and the first two rounds were very VERY strong teams at centre. 
 

huge positives about this team right now

1. Marky. He can keep us in a close game and give us a chance to get back in the game if we are down. Or shut the door when we are ahead.

2. The Minnesota game 4. This team has shown they can bail marky out of a bad game, just as he bails us out when we play poorly.

3. Faceoffs. Horvat probably needs a piss test after tonight. And throughout the playoffs. Everyone is killing it at centre
4. Following a loss or a blowout, this team answers back.
5.  Special teams are special

6. Everyone is buying in, blocking shots, laying hits etc.

 

It brings up a good point. I like our center depth and skill over the Knights.

And at his peak could matchup against any C too. Agree with Gillis - his absence was understated in the 2011 run.

Jake wasn't bad tonight.

 

I liked that he got Tuch riled up. He was skating well, cycling the puck in Vegas end nicely with his line & he was getting the puck out when he had the chance. (*cough* Sutter *cough*). He was doing the right things for the role he was in.
