I would be very happy with that contract for Motte. Excellent penalty killer and gives it everything every night.

I'd love to get Motte signed to a longer term, cheap deal.

Motte is slightly better then Wagner.  I honestly don't know if Wagner would crack the top four lines on a playoff team, but he's getting a lot of opportunities down in LA.  Who knows, he's only 23 and I've only seen him in the games that they played against us and in the games that the Kings played against our division rivals at the end of the season.

Wagner has unbelievable speed if he had just a little better hands he’d would pot at least 20 a season just based on scoring off the rush.  He will play a long time in the nhl just based on his wheels and tenacity.
