I say the greatest trade was Linden for Bert and McCabe mostly because of it’s ever lasting legacy. 

Bert - greatest power forward in Canuck history who later went to get us

Luongo - greatest goalie in Canuck history who later got us

Marky - this years MVP

 

Lets also not forget McCabe turned into a draft pick for one of the 
Sedins - both greatest players all time for the Canucks!

The last time the Leafs won the cup there were 6 teams in the league.  Their drought is longer than ours considering we weren't even in the league the last time they won.

Edler has not only been the team's backbone.

 

He also accepted a two year deal - to expire before the expansion draft, allowing the team to protect an extra defenseman.

Snd he took less than market value imo - guys like Edler are easily worth $6 million.
