On the contrary - they're exploiting the fact that the Canucks are not moving the puck .

the defensive structure is keepinig them in it - preventing any real grade A chances.

 

but you can't dump the puck away, period - or you are defending all the time. 

that is what is happening, not a lack of defensive structure.
