aGENT
Gal's going to end up taking a hail Mary +/-$2m contact IMO just to stay in the league...or head to Europe.

Agreed. Could possibly see him returning to MTL on a 1 year, esp. if Domi is moved
MrCanuck94
If he signs under 3mill and we were able to shed some cap and move Roussell, wouldn't mind him on 3LW as a project. Rather him on PP2 than Roussell. 3

He still thinks he’s a C and he won’t get a whiff of playing C in Montreal. I don’t see either party having any appetite to revisit. mll
They gave his number away when they traded for Bjugstad. Would think Galchenyuk was informed beforehand as that would be a bit cold to learn over twitter that his number has been attributed. Koivu was told he would not return per Russo. Guerin is not making an announcement because it's up to Koivu to decide what he wants to do with his future and make the announcement on his terms. They are more than willing to offer him a job in Minnesota or scouting in Finland. Koivu hinted at possibly playing back home to finish his career.
86Viking
cheap 1 year deal might be worth taking a flyer on...if we had any cap space to do it tho is very unlikely

Our development team is strong and we've had good reclamation projects. Wouldn't be the worst thing to try at a low risk price.

I agree, if JB moves out some F to make room for him. 1 year show me type contract low risk type of transaction. I would like to see us try to create a more balanced PP and have some better options for PP unit 2

flickyoursedin
He always plays great against us. If people think he’ll sign for cheap I wouldn’t mind a cheap one year deal.

We need heart and soul guys there with offensive skills, not guys with offensive skills that are streaky (ie Virt)

Out of respect I won't confuse you, but this is a silly statement. He didn't put it together with motivation when given the chance in Arizona He didn't put it together with motivation when given the chance in Pittsburgh He didn't put it together with motivation when given the chance in Minnesota Silly to believe that all of a sudden he will work out well ()

If we had more hustle down there to capitalize on his efforts then we would be better off Having Galchenyuk in that game 7 of ours would have made no difference Having Kiviranta tho lmao 1 1
