Hopefully we don't have any of our LHD get hurt, causing a repeat of the 2019 Tim Hunter debacle.  Guhle will be a critical part of this team given the only other defensively competent lefty is Bryam.  Glad we brought Korczak as well though; this gives Schnieder some help with shutting down the opposing forwards.  Forwards look deep as hell, and goaltending will be a crapshoot.  Holloway, Mercer, and Zary could make one hell of a checking line, which we always need.

Anybody know if they landed ok?

I wazza, wazza, Kamikase pilot.

They gave me a plane, I couldn't fly it home.
Taught how to take off, I don't know how to land.
They say it doesn't matter and I just cannot understand.

Cherry blossom, falling down; cherry blossom fall-ling, down.

As part of protocol every team had to test negative 3 times in the week leading to boarding the plane to Edmonton.  Germany has now 8 players testing positive and will need to remain in quarantine till the 24th.

Is today's 3:00 pm game (Swz v Aus) still on?  2:00 Pacific Time (?)

If so, I assume the 6:30 pm game (Fin v USA) is also on.  5:30(?) Pacific Time (?)

Is someone going to do a GDT?

I haven't ever done one, so I wouldn't know what I was doing.

But somebody else could, and it could be a warm-up for tomorrow's GDT.

Which includes Podz v Canada tomorrow afternoon.

Times were already adjusted to Pacific Time, I think. (See what a mess the GDT would be if I were to do it?)

I always look forward to the World Junior Tourney  and am always surprised and disappointed by our lack of representation at them (I thought this was a Canuck strength)?

Just looking at the more Powerhouse teams of Canada, USA, Sweden, Russia, Finland etc,

Teams like Anaheim, Calgary, Carolina, Colorado, LA, Min, Nash. Devils, Rangers, Ottawa, Leafs etc. have twice as much and more  representation on these teams ;(
