Vegas Golden Knights Report Card: Brayden McNabb

Brayden McNabb is said to be leaving Columbus just before the GML Trade Deadline. The team reported agreed to a trade late last night to move Vegas defender somewhere out West. Brayden has spent the last 4 seasons with the VGK Golden Knights of the NHL. His GML contract has 3 years remaining at 2.00M AAV per season. A bargain contract on a great playoff contender. CBJ GM Rush17 had this to say about the trade: "Moving Brayden wasn't an ideal situation - but given how our team underperformed this year we knew we had to make changes. Unfortunately Brayden has missed some time this season due to injury but that doesn't make up for how our club has played. I'm not sure what we will do at the trade deadline.. blowing up our team isn't the solution but we may look to change some parts out if it makes sense to do so." The GM also recently traded 3rd line center J.G. Pageau and star defenseman Colton Parayko. Many fans wonder what the next move may be - but we cannot argue with the gm about the teams performance... the expectations were much higher and this team as it is currently constructed has failed to deliver.

Just so everyone is aware, our trade deadline will be April 23rd at 8:00pm Pacific time.  Hadn't announced a day just in case COVID changed things, but it looks like we'll be able to go with that date.

Just a reminder so everyone is on the same page!
