We have done our best to reinvent our club and its identity over the past two seasons. We have managed to turn a strong competitive that had peaked into a young and robust core. We continue to add to our talent pool as we continue to push for playoff contention. We surprised ourselves last year with what was a fantastic playoff run. We even managed to go toe to toe with the league's best team of the regular season. Al though our timeline for contention wasn't expected to start this season we are very pleased with our players effort this past season. Now with the arrival of Kirill Kaprizov and youngster Dylan Cozens we feel optimistic our best years are still ahead of us.

The proposed new divisional realignment will present a challenge for our team. We are hopeful though with a good effort and the natural growth of our youth we can reach a new state of contention in the next year or two. Al though our organization has gained a reputation of trading its players often and swiftly; it has been to get us to the point where we are now. A team on the rise and ready to challenge some of the best teams in the league. Al though this years future is unclear we will stick to our plan and hope for the best.

Our plan is now to optimize our lineup so we can be better prepared to deal with the challenges of our new division. We plan on keeping most of our team intact for the near future but a move or two may be required to better position ourselves for the challenge ahead. We are excited the 2021 season is upon us and are thrilled to be part of this fantastic GML league!

We wish you all well, and hope your WJC players have a good showing!

Good luck to our reps attending this year! GL  Canada Dylan Cozens (C), Canada Kaiden Guhle (D), and Russia Shakir Mukhamadullin (D)!

Great work Rushy.

Whew, stiff mountain climb for us in Edmonton?

We are stronger & projecting 4890 full season equivalent points. I think that is top wild card territory?  2knd place in a weak division which division Canada is not. If Alex Turcotte plays full time it could be a huge difference maker for us? But we are not counting on that. Until he arrives our top 6 is good, not dynamic enough to be a top team. Which is why we are still in Trade / UFA talks. Our 1st line, G, Bottom 6, D & depth all look pretty good? Play off's are our goal!

The climb should be exhilarating !!! 2021 / 2022 should see Denisenko, Turcotte, Dahlin, Romanov all at a new level we cant expect yet this year. Askarov arriving, we still have a blue chip arrival pending. Lots of 1st to 3rd round prospects. The future is looking awesome. We are up for all challenges.

Looking for one more top 6 Boost this year! Talk to us.     Edit: legit top 6, not pretenders or rentals on fringe teams @Crabby

____________________

4890  projected                * Thing is?  We have great B level depth; who will get games & points. Will they add to 4890, or just cover injury time?

** Plus real wildcard Alex Turcotte. If he plays full time, or close?? His points will accumulate on top of projection.

130  Tyler Benson

80     Lucas Carlsson

100   Drew O'Connor

50      Mitchell Chaffee      XXX  Two to Four of these prospects will become NHL regulars this year and next. All will get games? Make it?

A year or more away...  (Foote may jump up. We are also open to trading prospects to make room for him in our cap & AHL, depth rosters)

Prospect forwards;                         Prospect defence                 Prospect Goaltending
