So do we have to go out and get another goalie? I'd think they'd like to leave Mikey D in the AHL vs the taxi group, for his development to continue properly.

I had mentioned this a while back, seems like the Canucks will have to go out and find another goalie. Not a chance they leave DiPietro or Kielly inactive. They need to develop.

Predictions?

72 in 56 is my guess

28 g and 44 a

Bold prediction. But I wouldn’t be that surprised. He’s just getting started

I’m going with 66 points again haha.

It will be fun watching the Canucks face the Maple Leafs nine or 10 times this season.

Stressful for me. There’s not much worse than losing to the Leafs, but not much sweeter than beating them.

Today we have:

13 flights from Toronto;

12 flights from Edmonton;

26 flights from Calgary

All these cities have  higher case counts than Vancouver.

Nevertheless, it is OK for people from ON and AB to jump on the plane, come here (no quarantine), and go shopping in our crowded malls or do whatever they want.

At the same time, it is not OK for NHL teams (all personel tested constantly) to travel on chartered jet, go nowhere except rink and hotel (and bring extra $$ to the economy in the process)

Makes zero sense, but maybe I can't understand something here?

Well said. 100% agree. I’m all for protecting people from Covid-19 and have agreed with most of the policies that they’ve put into place (providing that they are sensical), however this makes no sense at all.

It’s official now.

Top 4 from each division make it (no wildcard).

So:

North:

Toronto

Calgary

Vancouver

Edmonton

West:

Colorado

Vegas

St Louis

San Jose

Central:

Tampa

Carolina

Dallas

Columbus

East:

Boston

Washington

NY Islanders

Pittsburgh

The North is hard to predict because there's no real lock teams, and only one team (Ottawa) that you can rule out.

This government hates sports I mean they said no to a World Cup game

Then Montreal and Winnipeg are no slouches either. I'll even go out on a limb and say the Canadiens will finish top-3. Calgary will disappoint.
