All I'm suggesting here is maybe we're all being conditioned to be trigged to jump to "offended" when it could be a much simpler and rational discussion about when local artists should be used.

Nobody has brought this up over the last 20 years so why is it a issue know

because people have more say now, and more people are listening. 

 

Is it really that bad of an idea to you to use a local artist?

Maybe offended was the wrong word of choice, but that’s certainly the vibe the guy who’s complaining about it is giving off.

By local, you mean native, do you not? Or can the Canuck org get Robert Bateman to do a design of a native style Orca?
