I bought tp to give to those in need (my Dad's neighbour is a senior who's helped him in times of trouble...what goes around comes around so I got him some because he couldn't find any). There is such a sense of community in some places (like this fellow who's helped us in times of need). My complex too...adversity can really bring people together. Or...set them apart in a very bad way. I hate these people. They are all that's wrong with the world today.... They are selfish and care only about...self. Screw everyone else. May karma deliver a truck load of crap your way to go with your tp. Can't even park in a spot...no respect for anything it seems. Including self. Share the hell out of these stories and out these monsters. I saw that. We'd debated rolling up on her in a mob. Taking her tp and vehicle and selling her wheels in another parking lot for more tp. We're not nice people. But on a more serious note, there are people now upsetting diapers and baby formula and that has my blood boiling

canuck2288
All these people trying to personally profit will have karma coming back at them the biggest issue I have with this is simply what about seniors that can’t get out, can’t wait in line at Costco to buy essentials while others buy out stock and then try to fleece the weakest in society what have we become? so the lady selling tp out of her car? Karma is on the way, her plate is in the public domain, she will be charged with selling without a licence, someone will get her name out in the public now and she will regret this for the rest of her pathetic life karma Edited March 15, 2020 by canuck2288 2

LOL Funny thing is...there's been a rabbit virus circulating for the past 3 years - brutal consequences for buns that get it. Fast and furious. Gruesome. Bunny owners were initially terrified. As we waited for the vaccine to be approved for use in Canada, we had very strict protocol in order to protect our beloved pets. Veterinarian strength disinfecting spray. No shoes worn inside...clothing changed downstairs. Immediate and thorough hand washing. Even so far as no windows open (in the summer) , didn't go for walks outside because bunnies who had perished of this had carcasses capable of making it airborne as birds and other means of transport were considered. It was brutal, but necessary. The measures were really isolating. The virus only affects rabbits but others could carry it around on shoes, feet, etc. Even car tires were a huge issue as they transported it from place to place. Hard for me that first summer - no flipflips or open shoes. What???? I sort of carried the protocol over to some degree...was hard to break the routine. So I'm fully in the "virus protection mode". No shoes in the house and wash as soon as I get in are no brainers - just come naturally now. This is something very necessary - to be proactive and preventative rather than irresponsible and part of the problem (not the solution).
canuck2288
With regards to Tim Hortons they put a pathetic press release referring to “misinformation” to be clear most provinces have come out saying that a medical note can not be a requirement for an employer in the case of an an employee feeling ill so the Tim’s policy has been overridden. Now Tim’s is trying to state that that was not their policy on top of Everything rose time is not paying the employees that are ill. They do not pay for sick says and have not changed that policy boycott Tim’s people go somewhere where the coffee and food is not crap

Lost in this is the underlying stories of fear People jumped on this and whole swaths of the internet started calling for his deportation, he's not even Canadian, he wouldn't do this in his own country. Fear has made peoples real selves come out to play there's a fun group on the internet of people who wear yellow vests, I think they're crossing guards. They seized on this and ran with it. Plenty of humor out there: But sure, take the high road and make a statement no one is going to disagree with. That'll save face for a lack of reading comprehension. 1

However, the problem as i see it is that many Tim Horton's employees need their jobs and a boycott could cause layoffs. It's easy to say "just get another job", but it's not quite that simple. I feel bad for the treatment that these people endure, but I'm not sure an all out boycott is the answer. I wish I had one...
