Here are the details. Need this badly to compensate for delayed Moderna, as well as restricting AZ to 55+ (this may change soon).

In addition 400,000 doses moved from Q3 to June.

Approximately 2 million Pfizer per week in May and June.

Total 24 million of Pfizer from Apr to June.

300,000 JJ doses expected on week of Apr 27.

Expecting 4.1 million of AZ by end of June.

Canada expects total 48-50 million doses total by end of June.

June is going to be nuts.  50 million, with 300,000 J&J is enough to fully vaccinate 25.15 million.  About 84% of Canadians 18+

Agreed. That whole "be kind" moniker can get stuffed at this point.

It's like the government telling people to be kind to drunk drivers and street racers.  Sure their actions might kill you are someone you know, be kind to them.

A woman with rheumatoid arthritis at my mother's work got the shot and a couple days later has felt that side of her body start to tighten and seize up and has become difficult to move properly; whether a long term thing or not is unsure but definitely a very scary scenario for her.

It seems like things are escalating pretty quickly in India with them getting hit pretty hard with the second wave. They had over 210,000 new cases today.

India is getting hit pretty hard sadly. A third world country with overpopulation and overcrowding, poor sanitation, illiteracy and ignorance - I have relatives out there saying that COVID-19 is just the flu and nothing to worry about.

On a side note, I've heard several stories about people buying false negative tests and flying back to Canada. I wonder how closely the government is looking into this considering a number of flights from Delhi that have had positive cases.

hope she sought medical advice and have it looked at.  Possibly just transient inflammatory response due to the vaccine and flare up her RA.

Hope British Columbians see the warning in the ON situation and start getting their act together.   Gotten faltten that curve.  Vaccines won't help those already infected, and it doesn't work by itself and will takes weeks to see the effects.

In Israel, UK, mass vaccination roll out was coupled with shut downs.

Ontario to close borders with Manitoba and Quebec to non essential travellers.  All entrants must meet a list of eligible requirements in order to be allowed in/out

BC and Alberta evidently holding talks for a similar agreement

She was getting hit hard from both sides. I felt a tiny twinge of guilt for enjoying it, as at least she was encouraging everyone to get vaccinated. But that twinge quickly passed...

Horray for the police, this will save a lot of money on all the lawsuits that could/would have come from this type of enforcement.

People are "likely" to need a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine within 12 months of getting the first two, Pfizer's chief executive has said.

Dr Albert Bourla said a booster jab could be necessary "somewhere between six and 12 months" after the second one - and every year thereafter.

"A likely scenario is that there will be likely a need for a third dose, somewhere between six and 12 months and then from there, there will be an annual revaccination, but all of that needs to be confirmed," he told CNBC.

In comments published on Thursday, Dr Bourla said that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinehas proved to provide immunity for six months.

Answered a lingering question of mine.
