Should've worked harder at vaccinating the lesser developed countries instead of hoarding the vaccines and controlling the means of production and distribution for profit. Oops.

South Africa didn't have a supply issue; they had to request for deliveries to be slowed down.  Not much we can do to fix stupid abroad when we can't do it here either.

South Africa has had to throw away a good chunk of their doses because people didn't want them.  For them, at least, it isn't about access

This is why we still have polio in Pakistan/Afghanistan.

Should we still supply these kinds of people with vaccines if those vaccines go to waste?  Or should we keep those vaccines for domestic use, and give the extra to people in countries that will use them?

Was pretty alarmed to see this QAnon theory becoming reality.

But turns out... (I found many links on this from 2018 and on);

https://www.npr.org/2018/10/22/658808705/thousands-of-swedes-are-inserting-microchips-under-their-skin

I don't know.. even with the added context still feels pretty dystopian, especially as a replacement for cash/credit cards. Guess it only a matter of time before its here though.

Like here, there are people who will get the shot.  Just saying that they also have kooks who are refusing due to irrational fear and misinformation.  Just there it's tied to CIA mind control, big brother, etc.

Or the arbitrarily high figure of 20,000IU of vitamin D daily therefore invincible. Begs the question of why stop there. Why not 100k/daily and drain your bank account at the same time; hook yourself up to a Vitamin D IV while you're at it.

People have had months to get vaccinated, and still some avoid it.  Such is life for them now.

The sad part about this is that the town loses it's doctor, all because some anti-vax clown wrote Facebook post and some other clowns took it at face value.

If I lived in that town, I'd be calling for this moron to resign.
