It was one that is in shades of orange.  The map above is rate per 100,000.  The map I'm referring to was actual numbers of cases.

mean like this one.

The archived LHA maps are in these colours.  The new one on the page, that I posted earlier is in purple.

My son is a surgical nurse and he says the untold story of Covid is how it has covered over the already dire situation in BC hospitals. He says the system was already maxed out before Covid.

I think that's one of the things that irks me most about anti vaxxers.......they clearly don't think of the trauma inflicted on Frontline medical workers

Before Covid wasn't there a time fairly recently when one of our local hospital's Emergency was so full they were putting patients in the Tim Hortons?  I remember hearing that on the news.

Here we go again... this has gotta be the final wave right??  A super highly contagious variant with less potency should mean herd immunity is around the corner for most regions on the planet.

We don't know it's severity yet, far too early to know.  Even if it is, they are predicting a far worse hospitalization rate just based on sheer number of cases

Yes we do.  Every where is reporting Omicron presents with far less serious symptoms, and is most often flu like.  It’s not in the lungs like Delta and pre ious strains.  That’s a huge change.  Same as the Spanish flu.  Omicron is the end.
