Luckily I have zero symptoms, but I’m home from work for 5 days. Im vaxed and waxed. The vaccine seems to do nothing to prevent spreading, but it really does seem to make a difference when you have it. I got covid in the beginning around January 2020. Thought I was going to die. Lol. I was coughing for 2-3 months. I’ve had it twice since being vaxed… smooth sailing each time. How do you know you had it so early? I swear I got it early but have no evidence.

Same here, late October 2021. Other than recurring bouts of sciatica I have rarely ever been sick but I came down with what I thought might be the flu though unlike anything I had ever experienced. Got progressively worse until one night in bed I realized I couldn’t breathe while on my back and could only barely muster the strength to roll over. I was able to get some air while wheezing my way through the night. I was scared that I was going to die and made up my mind to go to the hospital if I made it through the night. Started to feel a little better by morning and continued to improve over the next week. For months any exertion like stairs or taking a shower left me totally spent. Did my own research and convinced myself it was bacterial pneumonia, which it may well have been since it was a fair bit before Covid got here. No evidence to say it was Covid but it does leave me wondering.

It’s the CEO of Pfizer. He is taking it because he has free access to every single drug he could possibly need. It says he is experiencing very mild symptoms. Nowhere says he needs the treatments or it would be much worse off without. Edited August 16, 2022 by D.B Cooper 1

Each dose represents a brake pad and the paxlovid represents the air bag. What is there to save the unvaccinated?

I saw nothing saying he was against vaccines.

Its a ridiculous time we're in. Social media has corrupted common sense and respect for medical expertise. 1

With less than 700 total potential applicants for adverse side effects but only 8 confirmed to be caused by the vaccine. I have long lost patience with people over both sides of this argument. I am now 7 months on from being infected and I still have some issues every now and again I never had before it. I lost a relative. I have friends who got it and were fine. The ONLY people truly still suffering from it that haven't lost anyone or don't have long haul issues are the whining minority who still think their freedumb has been lost; even though....2 years later; seems they lost nothing as everyone is back to doing exactly the same things they were before covid happened without issue 2 1

But NYC is seeing cases of polio again so I guess this is just the new normal. Social media and "beliefs" are more powerful to people than anything else. 1

I think vaccinations as a whole have been victims of their own success. My parents' generation saw so many diseases cease to be an issue that there was very little left. We're now losing the collective memories of having relatives who have died from things like polio and it's led to a lot of complacency. 3

Whats new tho is now its part of your political and/or religious identity to be anti-vax, or even vaccine-lax. Or freedumber. Support the truckers and all that good stuff. And of course if you think its a good idea to follow expertise, well that frames you too in a "camp" or "narrative" according to some. I think social media has produced a lack of respect for experts, because now everyone is one. You can get your thoughts confirmed and validated by some group and pfft, medical expertise, that Fauci just hates Trump rite? or Justin is trying to control me. 2 1 1
