You can go out, go to a movie, go ti a concert, go to a shopping mall (this is pre-COVID019) AND still feel absolutely alone because you have no one to share it with! I'm so sorry to hear this my friend. I, too, know this feeling all too well. Please take care. It does get easier...time never fully "heals" all wounds, it just numbs the pain a little. 1 2

Popular Post Me_
Here are some US presser stats for the last three weeks during this Covid-19 crisis: Trump has spent a total of 13hrs in front of the podium Of those 13hrs, he has spend 2 hours attacking people and organizations, 45 minutes praising himself and his administration, and 4 1/2 minutes expressing condolences, but has spoken about Hydroxychloroquine for 9 minutes. Since March 16, Trump has spoken 28hrs in 35 briefings; that’s 60% total time. VP Pence has spoken 5 1/2hrs Dr. Birx just under 6hrs Dr. Fauci just over 2hrs 13 hours of Trump: The president fills briefings with attacks and boasts, but little empathy Edited April 27, 2020 by Me_

I always imagined both Dave Barrett and Bill Bennett spending their twilight years in the *same* care home "re-living" their past battles in vocal debates in the nursing home about 'who is right & who is wrong' on such topics as the 'soup of the day' . Both have passed on but left their marks in the province.

Personally though, I prefer my leaders to be accountable for their actions, but that's me. And if you don't understand the hate, well I can't help you point the way since you'd probably refuse to look that direction to begin with. Can't see what you refuse to see right? I don't care for Trump. He's not my leader. What I stated is a fact. Some people have no education when it comes to what the media spews out. How informed would this planet be REALLY... if the media actually told the truth or news. Trump did not say the Virus was a hoax like many believe. AND When Trump sarcastically mentioned bleach injection... some people took him seriously. whats more pathetic...lol You know what... that's the human race for you. 1

AND When Trump sarcastically mentioned bleach injection... some people took him seriously. whats more pathetic...lol You know what... that's the human race for you. So standing there, telling us we're uneducated for listening to "the media" (there are millions of sources and they're all wrong? Corrupt? But you have the REAL information?) is a bit of a sweeping statement. Define "media". All of it? Where do you get your inside info from? If he's being "sarcastic' in briefings meant to keep his country safe/aware, maybe he should go back to show business instead? Not the time nor the place (even though I don't believe it was sarcasm). And those people taking him seriously out there? Mostly the ones who vote for him and that is pathetic. Because many of them DO believe what he says and it's all over the map, sometimes "sarcasm", most times, hurling insults and deflecting. The human race is full of individuals but to lump us all together somehow excluding yourself from that? And it's us? It's ok to question things...I tend to do that (see my last few posts). But the President of the United States should pick his spots better if he wants to be sarcastic, cute, stupid or whatever else theme he's rolling with in the moment. It's not professional to address serious business in the manner he does. I don't see other leaders doing that. He uses the podium like he's doing a celebrity roast. Just do your job and quit trying to entertain, it's backfiring. 8

DarthMelvin
When any president has to deal with the human race... well some will kneel or bow and others with be defiant. You can argue for or against, it doesn't matter. Each person will have their point of view. It's a ride I would get on.

That was just another of his pathetic lies, trying to cover for his stupidity. if you choose to believe him, that's your prerogative, but there is quantifiable evidence for him being a pathological liar. Combine that with the fact that most of us have seen the press conference and know what sarcasm looks like and I too have to disagree with your assessment of the situation. 2
