Earlier, I had made a Merry Christmas thread, and after reading a few comments........I would just like to say

that Roger's comments are spot on..........

But, in saying that, when I say Merry Christmas, i don't really mean it in a religious way, but more in a Love thy neighbor, and have a great holiday (day off) with your friends and family. My wish, is peace on Earth!!

To me, that is what the spirit is about. For others it may mean something different......I just truly hope it is good!

So, in my simple way, I am saying ""love, health and happiness!" is what I am wishing for you! It is a personal wish of goodness!

Don’t think anyone really felt any different.  Know “Happy Holidays” is the “correct non-offensive politically etc” way to express the season so thanks Janis for that thread too.  Bottom line is all religions have kindness as a main metric - do no (or least) amount of harm...wish all my CDC friends the best day and a Merry festive holiday season.   Hope Santa was good to you - and that merriment is a big part of your day(s) too.   Best wishes - I - Batchelor.

Wishing everyone a Briny Christmas and a Dilly New Year, from the God of Pickles.

(My 8 year old painted this the other day. The God of Pickles a deity of his own invention, but all who wish to join the faith are welcome.)

That’s hilarious!  I also see some delicious smoker meats covered in Dijon specialty mustard.
