I truly believe we have amazing depth, but I am 100% glued to Hoglander, Juolevi and Rathbone (in no particular order) The other thing that keeps coming back at me, is that for absolutely so long, we have never ripped the bandaid off, and Benning did it this year. Loosing Markstrom and Tanev has been a very scary ordeal, as they were security. But Benning actually did what he needed to do to protect the team long term. Yes, there could be a step back, although I don't think that will happen, but it opened up space and avenues for younger guys. IMO, this is positive. Admittedly, there are a lot of variables, but if we hit the ground running, you will see the confidence in this group grow. One of the biggest imo is how coaches around the league choose to manage these mini-series. Do you just field your veterans as much as possible, or do you mix in younger players to try to keep injuries and fatigue down, and give teams something new to look at on nights 2, 3 ,or 4 of a series?
