I have no problem with Sutter or Beagle as our fourth line centre. I do have a problem with both of them playing centre in the same lineup because it makes us a two line team. If Gaudette can step up to become a legitimate third line centre who can also kill penalties that will go a long way to making us a legitimate Stanley Cup contender.

tas - This is a forum not a cheer leading squad or Vancouver Booster fan club site. It is a forum, hopefully, for fans that are eager to see a cup win here and can express positive or negative thought and ideas

Again, Hopefully in this forum a concept of wanting to win is the main goal and not utopian idealism of mere participation.

 

Some poster people will agree with and some not, depending on your particular stance there could be many irritants, say if you think a two point improvement or that 7 years of failure should be forgotten, (you can easily see my angst) and all the dishonesty is one side then there is the other side, the Flow looked good, they tried REAL hard, they lost ANOTHER close one, who cares if other team rebuild faster our way is the only way (7years, two appearances one by a fluke). they look so cute. Have sympathy for those guys making millions of dollars.

 

You can see there are many points of view with just as many responses. Debate is healthy, it spurs change or improvement, why change if the building is full? Go to the game or to the circus, for some posters and fans there is little difference, a nights entertainment with no thoughts of winning or losing.

Look, you're right. Nothing in life is perfect, period. You have a right to voice your opinion, and so do I. But when someone continually drags it beyond acceptance, that's insane, it becomes overkill, and it crosses the border of reasonable debate, conversation. We are allowed to disagree. That I agree with.

As for tonight’s scrimmage I’m most interested to see if The Hog continues to make his strong case for a spot on Line 2, and if reports that OJ looks to be ready for full time NHL deployment look accurate to these long-time hockey watching eyes. Go Hog and Olli!

What gets me is fence jumpers, they criticize your thought as ridiculous and a month or two later their own posts are almost copies of your own.

This is a fantasy forum so the term, prove it is silly. Even if a poster really did have inside info from the front office,or was a player, past or present, to disclose that here would be the end a massive mistake. I do know that sometimes shows will peruse forums for script ideas, topics to fill hours of entertainment.

 

If a poster makes a statement and defends that position, IMO that is okay, it provides time wasting by tryng to pick holes, with data, in that argument. Maintaining a single position or stance should not be forbidden. What is really bad is there were posts made by some poster 5 and 6 years ago the predicted where the team would be and they were right, but they aren't here anymore because they didn't exactly agree with some.

debate spurs change, except when it's fans bitching. nothing that is said or done on CDC or any other forum has any bearing on the on-ice product. there is literally no benefit to negativity on a fan forum.
