There is some evidence Jake is finally getting the message.   If you go back to around and after he was signed it’s not hard to read between the lines :

Jake talked about what he wants to work on, and instead of training at home went to Kelowna (bye bye entourage/distractions), and is working out with Myers in the off-season.  To me this reads he’s finally committing to what it takes to be a pro.  It also shows leadership by both guys, especially Myers.   
 

Your right to question this given how many times he doesn’t come to camp in game shape and hasn’t achieved the goals set out for him by the coaching staff.   He’s got a golden opportunity with TT gone...ALL he has to do is beat out LE...and knows that top ten prospect Podz is breathing down his neck.
