He never recovered from teh serious concussion he took back in March 2019 and has not had an NHL contract since 2018-19. This is his last year under contract with us and has been on IR since March 2019. If he can't just be retired, I am 100% confident he will be on IR all year long anyhow, but would make for a cleaner sheet haha.
