Huge pickup for the Lakers, they definitely winning the NBA Championship this year!

Also, does the word "tvåvägsforwarden" just mean forward? Isn't that a lot of extra letters and a wasted umlaut?

Weird..

not knowing Swedish, I'd guess it means "two-way forward"

Poor team had Petey a few seasons ago.

Gaunce always seemed like a genuinely nice guy tho, maybe too nice for hockey in a weird way.

was hoping he’d stick around NA as he’s been productive in limited minutes and been a + player for the most part.

Looks like skating did him in though.

I think the problem was, he really didn't excel at anything.  Wasn't especially terrible at anything either but you need to be more than just "ok" at most things.  At least at the NHL level.

Never really understood why he didn't get a chance in the past few years. His AHL season in Providence was excellent and his last four NHL games produced four points. Even his 37-game season for the Canucks in 2017-18 showed a big offensive improvement, even if it was still lacklustre.

Yeah I am still kinda sad we didn't give him more looks. His overall skating ability is definitely his biggest drawback. Guess it was too much for other teams to take a shot on. Even as a taxi squad kinda guy.

It always frustrated me how he was built like a fire hydrant yet was never physically engaged in any game. That being said, I didn’t mind him in Vancouver. Getting to play pro hockey in Europe is still an unbelievable way to make a living.

Exactly, and given he had no lateral ability, but was straight line fast he needed to learn to use his big body to bang and crash.

the problem was, in Junior he was a cerebral offensive player getting a point per game. He wasn’t willing to do the things needed to stick in the NHL. He would have stuck around as a 4th liner or even 3rd line shut down guy if he was willing to change his game. He wouldn’t
