Popular Post TrickOfShapes
Hey everyone, Here's a look at top Vancouver Canucks prospect Nils Hoglander's performance in the team's final scrimmage before the 2020-21 NHL season. The intrasquad event took place on January 9, 2021. The video broadcast itself featured no audio in the first period. Play-by-play was restored in the second period. Hoglander represented Team White and spent the match on a line with center Bo Horvat. Look for #36. IBatch
IF Hoglander keeps it up and starts in the top six, and excels...and we make it four years in a row with a Calder contender... and OJ is also in say the top ten ... might as well turn the oven on and start heating the bronze statue of JB...something like this would be appropriate given the hate early on that’s turned a lot of us fans over to his side... Question is what expression should he have? Edited January 10, 2021 by IBatch

VancouverHabitant
Nils looked great there, but a lot has to do with the fact that he's in mid-season form and everyone else is just finishing their first week of hockey back. This is what I’m thinking as well. Hopefully, this isn’t the case. As impressive as Hoglander has looked, I’m still not sold on his defensive game. Having said that, I’ll obviously be glad to be proven wrong.

This is the big question. IRREGARDLESS (ha ha - always wanted to say that), he did come into camp being a total boss, which is exactly what you hope your prospects will do. It’s what JV should have been doing the past five years. 1
