Azzy
Some goalies for the Devils there. For the Canucks, I'd love to see Kylington claimed as 7D.
King Heffy
Happy to see LE off the roster. As a Royals fan, I was hoping to see Hicketts crack the Wings though.

-Vintage Canuck-
I think this must be an NHL-record for the most players on waivers in a day. 4

Does this mean our team is finally good enough to finally move on from this bad signing! I think so. lol. Haven't been on the board for a few days, haha brilliant "wat" emoji. Could've had it on here years ago. Some here are more enthusiastic about it than others I see.

Beary Sweet
Good luck to Eriksson. Only a matter of time this was going to happen. All the best to Brisebois, Sautner, Baer, Graovac and Bailey as they head to the AHL. They are pretty decent call up options if they pass through waivers 2
EdgarM
Cap Friendly site starting to show teams "Taxi Squads" , nothing for the Canucks yet. Not sure if this info is out there yet but thought I should share in case it isn't.

Finally goodbye Loui... one of the worst UFA signings ever for the Canucks. 2nd. The guy that destroyed the soul of the team was the worst $6 million player. EB43
May the nets be wide and empty in the AHL Loui, we will sing songs of you. Just kidding, beat it nerd. 1 1
Popular Post Provost
Lots of names of older expensive guys being squeezed out. One off the wall name that I think is really interesting is Jujhar Khaira. A local boy who is cheap, tough as nails, and plays all three positions on the 4th line. He actually seems like a pretty ideal fit as a depth guy who stays on the 23 man roster. Probably an upgrade on guys like Graovac, Hawryluk, Michaelis, etc. Would be a huge fan favourite and sell a lot of merch in Surrey. 2

Why make it more pleasant for him? I doubt he will actually be assigned to the AHL, but if he is make it feel as unpleasant as possible so he is more likely to hang up the skates. If we loaned him to another AHL team, it would be one in Canada so he could be recalled without quarantine. Winnipeg is known to be nice in the winter!
ImConfused
Uhhh Tyler Johnson?? Wow! Also, we should grab up Sbisa, Perry, Schenn, Johnson, and Lindholm on the cheap! Get er done JB! Edit: Nobody's snapped up Loui E off the waiver wire yet? Edited January 11, 2021 by ImConfused

Agree, but at 1.2 million we'd struggle to fit him in, cheap as that is. Not out of the question, though.

That’d be only $9,789 off of a full maximization of Ferland’s $3.5M LTIR.
