Do you honestly believe ebery team in the league doesn't try that?  Why in the world didn't Green think about that?  It's so crazy it just might work

If that's the case, having watched the way the team has defended on him that message either wasn't said or hasn't stuck.

Two goals, two guys take a look at him and then without even moving towards him let him off on his own... or is standing 10 feet off him which is suicidal. Like recognize who it is and be there.

Petey always looking for Brock

That's because the lane is now always blocked. Honestly, it doesn't take many replays to figure out the threats on our PP (it's literally 3 trigger guys or a 4th if Horvat can get a shot from the dot)

Yeah but Hughes got caught puck watching there. He didn't even notice McD till it was too late.

That's not Hughes' guy though, he was covering for the forward. That's on Hamonic, and he has been brutal so far in his 5 periods.

Everyone needs to chill. The best hockey player to have ever played the game is on a mission tonight to win. We are bound to let in goals and look stupid.

Gretzky, Lemieux and Orr have all retired.

McDavid isn't fit to carry their jocks.

Virtanen is so &^@#ing bad

Yep.   I've been on the fence about Lazy Jake for the past three years (actually leaning more towards trading him) but after last year he did show some improvement - to be fair. So if he continues that improvement and gets another 38+ points he's probably still of some value but I still don't think he'll ever be a top line player because he lacks a 2 way game and is hard-programmed to be a shooter - NOT a playmaker or back checking forward.
