True. The Oilers and the Canucks have looked the weakest of the Northern teams thus far imho. Need to see more of the Flames though. I don't think they are so good as we are so bad so far tonight. 

On paper we're a better team, but the Flames forecheck is really strong and giving us a lot of issues. Luckily that style of play is hard to keep up for 60 minutes, let alone a shortened season

Its true that's the main problem, we are far too passive/reactive and have been for far too long. All of our defenseman have size (Hughes aside), yet we are still standing around puck watching.

 

But our supporting forwards aren't particularly fast either, you have to be there to get a hit or you'll take yourself out of the play.
