18 million dollars tied up for non-roster players. That's equivalent to a first pairing defence (Pietrangelo) + first line winger (Hall).

 

Well to be fair, Ferland is on LTIR so that's 15 mil. But still.

GM should be the least of our concerns right now. Roster shouldn’t be this bad.

Demko is far from ready.  Holtbys looked pretty good though fortunately.

Also our PK is terrible.  Although not surprising given how much we rely on Beagle and Sutter.

If it was easy to get out of those anchor contracts, I am sure it would be done already and both JM & CT will probably be here.  Perhaps you have a magic wand that you can lend JB or a time machine to prevent himself from signing these players.....   Next game or next season (if this continues past the 15/20 game mark.
