Think about what would have happened had Trump walked with those people into the Capitol. A totally different outcome would have occurred. Someone who actually knew leadership would have done that. That's the scary part. Luckily, Trump's not a leader. He never has been because he doesn't know what to do in times of need. When the pandemic hit, he didn't know what to do. When he lost the election, he didn't know what to do. When the people stormed the capitol, he didn't know what to do. Outside of these areas, he had a team of people who could tell him what to do. The rise in the economy was talked about. Do you really think he was responsible or was it his party, the republicans, that were responsible for it? His "peace in the Middle East", he made countries already at peace at peace. He didn't make countries at war with each other at peace. He pulled troops out of Syria. You know who they abandoned in that? The Kurds. They were allies. Left them to defend for themselves. Completely ripped up a deal with Iran... who were cooperating 100%. I could continue but I'll conclude here. That assault on Capitol Hill was an attempt to keep Trump in power. Think about how many recounts happened in the election. Think about how many court cases were thrown out.... by his own appointed judges. Now ask yourself this: had that coup on Jan 6th been successful, do you truly, 100% believe it would have been democratic? Can you 100%, swear on the bible, tell me that? His accomplishments (though I may not agree them) for his base -you’re right, he’s the first president in a long while not to start a new war -for good or bad he moved the needle in the Middle East -3 Supreme Court justices (if you’re a republican you have to love that) -he sure as hell shook up the political establishment. For his base these are all notable. Many of us feel you sold your soul to get them. You don’t, I get that. I’m not going to even try to list the harm he has done to the country, alliances, the world because the list is too long and and I doubt most of his supporters would agree with a single one.
