The good news is we have the Sens after this. I see Petey getting one tonight, then getting 7 in the next 3 games against the Sens.

I'm thinking we'll be 5-5 after 10, which considering the slump the team is in now, the playoffs will still be a reality.

If they lost tonight and then can't get 5/6 points against the Sens we can talk about next year.

Don’t underestimate the Sens, they have everything to win and nothing to lose

we have a history of stinking out games against “lesser” teams

I am just happy to have hockey and am behind my team.  Win and lose.

Going through some stuff right now that puts it all in perspective and this is something to be positive about and enjoy life a little.

I agree with the doctor up there....keep it simple, crash the crease and battle hard.  Montreal's on top of the world right now but that doesn't mean we can't knock them back down to earth.

Let's go boys.  Firing on all cylinders and turn this thing around.

Aaaah Deb always the optimist, i sure with i could borrow some of that right now......Sigh

What does a total house cleaning mean to you? And how do you accomplish that in the current state of covid NHL? Before what blown window?

You make a good point Ajax.

The blown window will become clear when such young stars as we have presently will decide they've had their fill of dump, chase and hope hockey.  And re-sign elsewhere.

Yes, there's the covid factor, but I'm not understanding how that diminishes finding temporary coaching staff from say, Canuck alumni in this covid season.

The team looks bewildered, are obviously ill-prepared for game days, while the team's young superstars are lacking focus.

This last one is an absolute shocker, and dangerous from a coaching perspective.

I was happy JB got Travis, and that we didn't lose him from Utica.  He did good things there.

But, come April, Green will have been Canuck head coach for 4 full years.

The only noteworthy player improvement I've noticed in his tenure is Markstrom, thanks to Ian Clark.

I can't think of one incoming player who's better now than his reputation was at signing.  A few players have visibly regressed.

Sometimes, fire won't ignite no matter how long you keep blowing.  The wise course is to re-kindle.

Its a losing streak

the players are certainly responsible but ultimately the coaching staff is accountable

In every sport since the beginning of sport

I think you point out some valid flaws in Greens coaching but I think you're putting too much of the blame on him.

The same coaching staff we did so well in the playoffs with, yup it's all their fault

Fire the entire coaching staff right now, let Canucks alumni players run the bench

recipe for more success right there

I'm throwing them a bone, they could 100% go 1-2 against the Sens.

We CLEARLY get where your at, clearly you want major changes, and many on cdc agree...... and you may get your wishes if the ENTIRE team fails to perform going forward

But can we focus on winning the next game,  3 wins against Ottawa and some valuable practice time before your nuclear option?

Lets see if the boys can right the ship so we can move past all this negativity

Go Canucks go

Well put, it's these knee jerk reactions that made the Leafs what they are. Forever rebuilders.

We were outshot and outplayed in most of those games. You feel we dominated? Played great systems?

Come on...we rode a hot Marky, Demko and Bo

we are back to “normal “ goaltending and now out lack of structure is exposed
