That was a fun one to watch tonight. The team stepped up when it mattered most and it paid off. Demko was really sharp. Probably deserved the shutout had it not been for that goal off his mask but feels good for him to get a win under his belt. Sutter looked great out there. He buried his chances when he got them and got his 1st career hatty. Hoglander and his line continue their hot start to the year. A really nice set up on Pearson's goal. Juolevi also got his 1st career NHL goal. Nice to finally see him get one under his belt. Motte and Huggy Bear also added goals to complete the rout. Hope the boys build off this win and keep it going! GCG!

I’m not writing Ottawa off next game , they kept out top 6 forwards pretty quiet , tonight is a great win. Who would’ve predicted a Sutter hat trick?

Do you think teams let up on us a couple years ago? What were they suppose to do “protect the lead” Ottawa scores and it’s a different result. It’s THE NHL. Also they have lots a vets. Take a look at their roster

Would still love to see them clean up on giving the puck away resulting in odd-man breaks. Will haunt them all season against better teams
