Got to wonder unfortunately if it's health related - he's not a young man.  Not that health-issues only affect certain demographics, but we know how age/health typically go sadly.

Trading significant assets for a year of Looch,

Bad contracts to Quick, Richards, Brown, and Gaborik

Trading Cernak for a few weeks of Ben Bishop

Probably a bad contract to Kopitar (arguments for and against this)

Not to mention a complete infatuation with low-skill, slow, physical bottom 6 players.

We want this?

2 cups!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet he gifted a 1st to the Hogtown Laffs, for a speedy lil' 3rd line lump(junk lying 'round from earlier Kessel deals)?

Some of these circular dealings,(injecting future talent for ca$h cow markets), appear to be ranging from improbable, to downright undefendable.

It's amazing how these so-called Benning haters are so quick to blast him when a lot of GMs have had their own mistakes.

JOHN CHAYKA?????

He is banned from working for a NHL team till the end of this year.  He also has his sights on a far larger job.  NJD ownership was looking to hire him to work in overseeing their different sports team and not just their hockey team.
