Of course those feel better, but keep in mind Ottawa has beat Toronto. Not to mention that Ottawa scored more against Winnipeg and Ottawa's had a less hectic schedule so they're more rested than we are.

 

And sure, those are minor things to mention in this, but they are still contributing factors to any game.

10 game training cap is over, we're at .500 and the goal differential is even. This road trip coming up will be a big test but I think we'll be able to win at least 2 or 3 games. Glad to see all the top guns rolling, and a first decisive win for Holtby.

Watched the 1st intermission from that game and the whole time the panel just talked about how the whole team just had to get the puck to McJesus

Sure, it still looks fragile and that's a concern.  But I remember when we couldn't score goals AND looked that fragile.  Put the puck in the net 16 times in 3 games and it's something to smile about.  Despite the details.
