Tre Mac
What? Why wasn't Benning announced as the GM of Team Canada? He must be American. C'mon it's not like there's a salary cap he has to worry about.

Sean Monahan
I can't imagine a scenario where Drew Doughty isn't in the top 6. All the talk of him being a little overrated has swung too far the other way I think. He's still one of the best in the world at his position, he'll be in the top 6 for Canada. Baratheon
Watching the playoffs this year and last year makes me want Barzal to play with McDavid. I also think it's important that the top 3 centers be Crosby MacKinnon and McDavid. So with that in mind I currently like something like this: O'Reilly McDavid Barzal (O'Reilly can take most of the faceoffs and can keep up with the other two enough to play a heavy game for them) Tavares MacKinnon Marner (Might as well keep Tavares and Marner together. I thank Mackinnon works well with them) Marchand Crosby Stone (Always felt that Crosby had an underrated defensive game. I think this line would become very nasty for the oppositions top lines.) Huberdeau Scheifele Stamkos (Another offensive line. Can be bumped up if another line is not going on any particular night) Bergeron (For when either Scheifele or Stamkos need to move up and take Marner out of the lineup ) I am less decided abut the defense. I think the right side needs to consist of PIetrangelo Weber and Makar however.
