Recommended Posts

We don't need Dunn..He won't help  ....I really think Bennett would really help with his grit and style..We don't have enough players

that play hard ....We play soft against teams..Just look in front of  Demko nobody takes guys out..

Exactly. This team is hemorrhaging, and Dunn would not be any sort of solution. I do seem to remember that he was walked by Horvat twice during the series between Vancouver and St. Louis.

You think Myers is bad? Dunn is worse. A literal pylon would be better than Dunn. I would only consider Dunn if the GM is offering up a 1st round pick to go along taking him.

This is how bad Dunn is as a player.

With too 6 spots fading for JV.

Is it time to try and flip him for defensive help?

We brought in Hamonic to try and stabilize the defense and as a settling presence. He's been injured.

We don't have any space to work with, and Jake doesn't exactly have "trade value" right now.

I like the idea of trying to find someone who would help settle the team down, but I don't see how this helps.

I'm really not convinced that we need to add anyone right now, I think this is more an issue that we need to get some downtime to rest and then some practice time to work on playing as a team.

Right now, I think that coaching and management need to step back for an afternoon and Horvat needs to call a players only team meeting and talk about commitment to playing defense. I think the players on this team, thought that they could push the boundaries on offense this year and are now in a position where they are scrambling to find their game again, with no time to do it. We replaced significant portions of this team during the offseason, and they have not really had any time to just work on being a team.

This may sound overly optimistic, but I really don't think this team is as bad overall as their record implies. I think a few more days off over the last few weeks to practice and integrate players, and we're in a better overall position.

We all knew that this season was going to be difficult and that the teams that perform the best, would likely be the teams that were able to come together first. Other than Ottawa, all teams in Canada are at similar stages of completing rebuilds and are all competitive.

I was just going off of his number of games played and a positive +/- each year. A change of scenery can do lots.

Baumer should be feeling the hot seat.

Easy to forget Hammonic is hurt, actually forgot about him lmao.

Jake clearly isn't in their plans though. Couldn't hurt to take a flier on a young d man.
