I feel bad for Quinn he's getting roasted and laughed hell someone started a is Quinn overrated poll and yea he's been so-so but hes also stuck with someone who doesn't allow Quinn to rove properly nor does he bring anything to the table.

Impossible to say without being in the room if the problem is the planning or the execution. I’m not loving Greens comments about our team not being good enough to chase games though, that sends a terrible message to the guys.

Coaching "experience" can come in different forms...doesn't have to be a Resume of direct experience....he knows the game.  He's been a great study of it.

 

When he  used to get caught pinching all the time he spent an off season learning "timing" and when to jump into the play/not based on positioning - his, where the puck was, where his back up was, etc.  To make it a decision not a reaction.  It really helped him.  He didn't just play the game, he absorbed a lot over the years.

 

He knows a whole lot about this game...I wouldn't pass him over based on being "green" (wow, that pun wasn't even intentional).  He'd make a great defensive coach.
