Yes that is how things do work but what if you bring in a new coach and nothing changes

1 major assumption Green firing callers are assuming is it is Greens fault

Something will happen, for better or for worse but we can’t keep going down the road we’re on now.

lol.  Refs swallowed their whistles (among other organic material) during that playoff series.

How many bodies would be left laying on the ice if Torres were given that privilage in 2011?

Still has more balls then 99% of this soft arse team. Benn being the exception.

The Canucks are in their own heads. This game is 50% mental. I think they will come out of it. The only problem is that the season is so short.  The other big issue this year is that you are playing the same team for little mini series. When you see the same team for 3 games straight it makes it more difficult to come out of it. There is no weaker teams to help you out of a slump.

Sens helped us out of the 1st slump. When's the next series against the Sens scheduled? Think we have to wait quite a time to play the Sens again.

Those who think our team got upgraded during the off-season must be hitting themselves now...lol...

Not keeping Marky, Tanev and Toffoli basically means we give up the immediate future for a chance to be good in who knows, 2, 3, 4 years from now?

From one goal away to the conference final to a bottom feeder in a matter of one off-season, how fast things can change..

Everyone in the coaching staff besides a few(like Ian Clarke) and the both the AGM and GM is what I implied from clean house. Brown and Baumer especially.

Green's lost the room.

Let Clarke finish the season.

Or see if we can get Malholtra to finish the season. Interim coach to finish the year. Heck even Bieksa would do.

I have more of a problem with the Personnel Benning has signed

he got himself into trouble with bad contracts and it’s made it impossible to get the right player in now to take advantage of the young core’s prime years

I agree. It's Benning's mess himself created over 7 years that's clogging the pipeline now. It's been warned for years and here we are.

If one's head has to roll it should be Benning's. Green may get another chance with the new GM like AV did with Gillis, if somehow they find a way to get rid of those dead weights on the roster.

Yip. Maybe even Hamonic if he is healthy and finds his game.

Yep.  A little mini-build this season is a silver lining for sure.

We have all our picks and some serviceable vets on expiring contracts to sell.

If we pick up some assets it opens up the possibility to burn a few to expedite moving out Roussel or even Loui.  Or find someone who will bury Ferland.

Assuming the locker room doesn’t completely and irreparably turn on itself we could snap back pretty quickly.

I wrote a post earlier today it will change because the team is not this bad

Didn’t see it but I do agree, we have some pretty good talent, need an experienced coach to lead them, also think a shake up would be good for Jake, gives him a fresh start, at least we’d know.

By that time we'll be below Sens in the standings.

Exactly. One step back, two steps forward.

Just do us a favour and resign Green

Wow you really have given up after this game haha.

you know what sucks even more though.  After this we play Toronto again, then we play Calgary who have beaten us both times this year
