There beating him down out there. He's playing injured and needs some rest, I read its probably a groin strain. I say a rested 14 minutes on wing would be good once in awhile. Keeping his pp time also.

If he’s got a groin injury take him out of the lineup!

He’s too important to our success to have him playing at 75%. If that is the case we’re going to keep losing with him struggling.

Continuing to play him as a winger is not the answer. Just cause you’re a forward doesn’t mean you don’t play hard minutes. The only way to heal a groin is to stop playing for a bit.

You can't give up on guys who are slumping when they're your top guys...they'll work through it (hopefully sooner rather than later).

The line ups need stability and throwing a line that has been struggling "defensively" back together again , throwing a "hasbeen", who has no business playing in the NHL and throwing him in the top 6 to boot too?

How about throwing our best player lately on the checking line?

Green is playing the heck out of those top players and now they are struggling, look at Hughes, give the kid a break.

Veteran ledership is on the team for a reason, let them settle things down and help out the young guys.

Finally, why is Motte not getting more ice time? Is Green blind?

Exactly. But were so desperate so we keep playing him. I'd rather look longer term. And not develop a chronic injury.

Long term.

7 years with .500 hockey both systems fail.

I knew they were similar, but thats hilarious.  It makes it as clear as day now.

Gaudette, Virtanen and MacEwen have been healthy scratched at times.  MacEwen averages just 8 minutes per game.  Gaudette less than 9:30 and Virtanen just over 12 minutes.

Greener has favorites no matter how good or bad they are playing. Its too bad because OJ will never get a chance as he is not one Greens "Pets". Green's ice time for his players paints a pretty clear picture.
