RU SERIOUS
Anyone else think that when the Canucks cheaped out last spring on those terrible chintzy playoff towels (that don't last like the old Terry towels) last spring, that was a sign of things to come for this year ?? I personally think there was a connection there - don't you? Edited February 8, 2021 by RU SERIOUS typo

I remember when I treated my friend from Korea to Game 2 vs Chicago during 2011.... she got the free towel and she was like... "Great! I needed a towel to wipe the counters at home...." kanucks25
This thread really requires a dry sense of humour. I hope the Canucks can turn the Tide on this season soon. We haven't even come out of the rebuild yet, we can't already be washed up? Looking for Benning to take out of some of the dirty laundry this off-season. On an unrelated note, I really enjoyed it when the Sedins would put defenders in the spin cycle.

On a related note and in keeping with a dry sense of humour, I really don't enjoy it when some of our forwards (Like lazy Jake) don't back check and leave our D-Men in the "OUT to DRY" cycle! Yeah, it's tough to watch. Feel like I gotta clean my eyes out with detergent after every game. Can't believe the tumble we've taken down the standings.

Yeah seeing all the boys with towels on their sticks! The league had to centre us out again and make that a suspensionable action. If we're ever getting hosed again I'd like to see our bench do that one more time for old times sake.

Don’t be surprised if Myers is exposed and claimed in the Expansion draft as well (possibly incentivizing Seattle to select him).
