How is radio expensive, this can't be real. Once you have the hardware up you just need 2 guys to show up and a producer to push the buttons. Its literally 3 guys and bunch of computers with a microphone. Cheapest source of entertainment is radio, how is that expensive to operate? Sportsnet is based out of Toronto. All business decisions are made by Sportsnet. They do not hire “Canucks personalities”. They hire radio personalities, who are often from the Toronto market. Their goal is to entertain not pump the tires of the Canucks organization. This entertainment usually involves stirring up the fan base when the team does bad. There just isn't enough going on. So they end up looking for things to talk about. And the easiest way to do that is with controversy and negativity. Some of these people should start a podcast.
