I thought his season was over when his face covered in blood. Motte has been great too. Edler was a beast last game. I expect him to lead the charge from the defense again today. I was really impressed with the way he came back after the "puckcident". His shield looked like a murder scene, yet he came back and played harder than ever!! He didn't shy away from anyone, played the same hard-nosed style of hockey. He's old school, Love it. 3 2 1

That being said, I still see Benning sticking through his current contract given the current economic climate. I am by no means in Bennings corner these days but I'm beginning to accept the possible reality of him staying. I see Green going before JB. But the other possibility is that everyone sees this season is a wash and wait till the off season to make changes.
Popular Post King Heffy
Hopefully the Turtle can avoid trying to sever a tendon while he's in the middle of one of his dives. Relieved we'll have Big Mac out there to send him to the ICU if he starts with any of his trash. Time to expose the Flamers as the gutless joke of a team they are. Nothing like playing an AHL team to break a slump. Edited February 10, 2021 by King Heffy 2

Smashian Kassian
Virtanens just not one of the 12 best forwards at this point IMO.

Yeah I root for him but he went from having a good shot at 2nd line to barely 4th line. Super bummed. Hope he turns it around last season was way better

This kid is something special. There was a side shot of his face when he came back on the ice and he already had a fair size egg on his forehead. hen there was talk of him sitting I wondered about a possible concussion. His core strength is something else. Many hits he has taken and recovered his balance when I thought he would go down. I think by season's end he will be a regular point maker. I actually wouldn't have a problem if he dropped to the 3rd line now again as it would be a tad more sheltered. Give him more time to make plays. His puck possession numbers must be great.

Easier to replace the coach since his contract is up anyways.
